Bought this as a toy when getting some quartz cap 18mm tube replacements, oh man took me 2 days to get this one right, 30mm rubies filling, and then the basket top exactly where quartz tube finishes, the given 220c is kinda bad starting point as it instantly torches terps, (that changes with how many rubies are inside)
instead start at 186c ( if u really want to soft terps start at 177c), and here u can finish 80% of the flower, and remains are here already medium brown, u can go to 210c or finish there if u value ur lungs. Interestingly this vape for me has the highest extraction of all my ball vapes/quartz, with the least coughing of all, just a incredible best all arounder frankly.
very important bit is dont grind ur flower, rip it with ur nails to the size close of the 3mm rubies, then suck that in to the tube and never tamp down with force, this vapes flavour production is highly depended on free airflow, and to get best flavour I found it best to pull as hard as possible,
hence why I went down from 38-40mm rubies as this was way too much air restriction, and that kills flavour instantly as its a convection mainly vape.
10/10, I guess the only downside is when the terps are gone its not the best taste for the rest of the roast, for this stage id prefer Quartz cap but QR baller extracts more so I need less nway, all things equal :D
